Hello readers, and welcome to the official page of the Higashi Wakahisa Iaidō Circle!
On the 1st of April 2024, the dōjō official opened with its first training session.
We were joined by N kenshi and K kenshi, long standing members of Sakai sensei and James sensei‘s home dōjō. And with no better way to start the new dōjō, two young and aspiring kenshi took their first step on the path of iai! We’re all looking forward to watching their progress!
Under sensei’s tutelage, the session focussed on establishing fundamental kihon, working on tenouchi and kamae before practicing the ZNKR technique Mae and the Musō Shinden Jūshin Ryū Tachiuchi no Waza technique Deai.
